Greenville City Council met July 23.

Call to Order: 

A special meeting of the Greenville City Council was called to order on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 5:31 p.m. by Mayor Alan Gaffner.

Roll Call: 

Present:           Mayor Alan Gaffner, Councilman John Gillard, Councilman Mike Heath and Councilman Kyle Littlefield.

Also Present:   City Clerk Sue Ann Nelson.

Pledge: 

The pledge of allegiance to the United States flag was recited.

Notice of Meeting: 

Notice of the special meeting having been given as provided by law, said meeting was called for consideration of the following agenda:

      1) Roll Call

      2) Pledge of Allegiance

      3) Public Comment

      4) Executive Session: Purchase of Real Estate, Section 2(c)(5);

                                          Sale of Real Estate, Section 2 (c)(6);

                                          Personnel, Section 2 (c)(1-2)

                                          and Pending Litigation, Section 2 (c)(11)

                                          of the Open Meetings Act

Public Comment: 

With no comments being expressed, public input was closed.

Adjourn to Executive Session:

At 5:32 p.m., motion by Gillard, seconded by Littlefield, to adjourn to Executive Session for Purchase of Real Estate, Section 2(c)(5); Sale of Real Estate, Section 2 (c)(6); Personnel, Section 2 (c)(1-2) and Pending Litigation, Section 2 (c)(11) of the Open Meetings Act.

      Ayes: Gillard, Littlefield, Heath, Gaffner

      Nays: None

Motion carried.

Reconvene Special Meeting Open Session:

At 9:25 p.m., council returned to the open meeting with all members present.

Reconvene to a Later Date and Time and Adjournment:

At 9:26 p.m., moved by Heath, seconded by Gillard, to adjourn meeting and to reconvene current meeting agenda on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 5:30 p.m.

      Ayes: Heath, Gillard, Littlefield, Gaffner

      Nays: None

Motion carried.

Reconvene Special Meeting:

A special meeting of the Greenville City Council originally held on July 23, 2018 was reconvened on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 5:32 p.m. by Mayor Alan Gaffner.

Roll Call: 

Present:           Mayor Alan Gaffner, Councilman John Gillard, Councilman Mike Heath and Councilman Kyle Littlefield.

Also Present:   City Clerk Sue Ann Nelson.

Pledge: 

The pledge of allegiance to the United States flag was recited.

Recess to Executive Session:

At 5:33 p.m., motion by Gillard, seconded by Littlefield, to adjourn to Executive Session for Purchase of Real Estate, Section 2(c)(5); Sale of Real Estate, Section 2 (c)(6); Personnel, Section 2 (c)(1-2) and Pending Litigation, Section 2 (c)(11) of the Open Meetings Act.

      Ayes: Gillard, Littlefield, Heath, Gaffner

      Nays: None
