McDonough District Hospital issued the following announcement on Sept. 26.
McDonough District Hospital will host a special program for Breast Cancer Awareness month Monday, October 15, at 6:00 p.m. in Auditoriums A and B, located on the lower level of MDH.
The program features Dr. Ronald Rigdon, Radiologist, and Lynn Henderson, RD, LDN, from Morrison Healthcare speaking about the mammography interpretation process, indicators of possible malignancies, foods that increase or decrease your breast cancer risk, and how to add more healthy foods to your diet.
