City of Jacksonville issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
While preparing their grocery list for their Thanksgiving meal, residents are encouraged to add kitten food to support the kittens at Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS).
All brands of dry or canned food are accepted (Note: Purina Pro Plan is a favorite among kittens).
Donations can be dropped off or shipped to the City’s animal shelter (2020 Forest St. — 32204).
