Beardstown Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
It’s been a crazy day, but we officially have power, water and heat on our end of the building!!! The weight and cardio rooms will be open regular hours tomorrow. There is power in the gym, but no heat. So walkers are welcome, just bundle up. (It’s still warmer than walking outside). Youth Basketball will stay at Gard School gym for now, and morning Zumba and SFB classes will resume tomorrow at regular times at the 4th St Lutheran Church. We will work on a plan for tumbling, and it will resume after the Christmas break. A huge THANK YOU to all of the people that arrived at a moments notice to help us open our doors again!
