Report: Nauvoo-Colusa spent $11,264 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Nauvoo-Colusa Community Unit School District 325 is up 16.7 percent from five years ago, according to a West Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Hancock County school district spent $9,648 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,264 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 262 to 251.

Nauvoo-Colusa's spending in 2017-18 was 15.5 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
