Report: Griggsville-Perry spent $13,020 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Griggsville-Perry Community Unit School District 4 is up 12.8 percent from five years ago, according to a West Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Pike County school district spent $11,545 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,020 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 397 to 382.

Griggsville-Perry's spending in 2017-18 was 2.4 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
