MCDONOUGH DISTRICT HOSPITAL: Community Heart Health Program for February 20 is Canceled

McDonough District Hospital issued the following announcement on Feb. 20.

Due to inclement weather conditions, the Community Heart Health Program at McDonough District Hospital scheduled for Wednesday evening (Feb. 20) has been canceled.

MORE ON THE CARDIOPULMONARY DEPARTMENT: Cardiopulmonary services at MDH are provided by highly trained and credentialed specialists in the field of cardiopulmonary and vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. They treat patients of all ages and needs, tailoring the procedure and education to meet the needs of each patient.

The MDH Cardiopulmonary Department recently earned reaccreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in Vascular Testing and Echocardiography.

Certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), MDH Cardiac Rehabilitation provides programs of exercise and education to help people with heart conditions live to their fullest potential, including those recovering from: open heart surgery, heart attack, stent placement, valve repair or replacement, and stable angina, and other additional conditions.
