McDonough District Hospital issued the following announcement on Feb. 22.
The McDonough District Hospital Cardiopulmonary Department has been granted an additional three-year term of accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in Echocardiography in the area(s) of Adult Transthoracic and Vascular Testing in the area(s) of Extracranial Cerebrovascular Testing, and Peripheral Venous/Arterial Testing.
The accreditations awarded to the MDH Cardiopulmonary Department demonstrate the facility’s ongoing commitment to providing quality patient care in echocardiography and vascular testing.
