City of Jacksonville issued the following announcement on March 23.
The annual City Wide Clean Up is begins June 6th and ends June 8th. All Jacksonville residents may drop off their items at the Street Department City Garage, 200 West Oak Street, Jacksonville, Illinois on the following dates:
Thursday, June 6th - 7 am to 2 pm
Friday, June 7th - 7 am to 2 pm
Saturday, June 8th - 7 am to Noon
Prohibited Items:
Hazardous Waste, Liquids, Motor Oil or Paint
Landscape Waste (brush, grass, leaves or limbs
Concrete, rocks or dirt
Batteries
NO TIRES
Accepted items include dried or solidified paint and
brush and limbs may be taken to the Brush Drop Off Site on North Church Street, near the Street Department Garage on West Oak Street.
Identification will be required.
