Franklin home prices fall in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Franklin fell by $40,200 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $23,000 - a 63.6% decrease over the $63,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Franklin in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,278.90, approximately 5.6% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
