Waverly home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Waverly fell by $11,525 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $31,475 - a 26.8% decrease over the $43,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Waverly in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Waverly for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,251.10, approximately 4% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
