Memorial Hospital - Carthage IL issued the following announcement on May 21.
The Carthage Kiwanis Club will sponsor Kids Shopping Day on Saturday, August 10, 2019. The purpose of Kids Shopping Day is to provide children with new clothing, new shoes, a backpack, school supplies and a hair cut to help them be ready for the first day of school. The event is open to children in the Carthage Elementary School District #317, grades pre-K through 8. Location for Kids Shopping Day will be First Baptist Church Community Room, 601 Main Street, Carthage.
Registration for Kids Shopping Day is required for all children. Registration forms can be picked up and dropped off at Carthage Public Library, Hancock County Health Department, Marine Bank & Trust, UnityPoint Health-Memorial Hospital, Memorial Medical Clinics or Shepherd Food Pantry in Carthage. The form can also be mailed to Carthage Kiwanis Club, P.O. Box 94, Carthage, IL 62321. Forms must be returned by Monday, July 8, 2019.
