Q2 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Greene County?

There were two offenders released on parole during that live in Greene County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in Greene County were men. The younger parolee was a 24-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2016. The other was a 52-year-old man sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Justin L. Stiller. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016 when he was 20 years old. He is now 24.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
