Q3 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in McDonough County?

There were six offenders released on parole during the third quarter that live in McDonough County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that five men and one woman were released in McDonough County. The median age of the parolees was 30. The youngest parolee was a 25-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 40-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Dylan W. Prather. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017 when he was 25 years old. He is now 28.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter in each McDonough County municipality.
