Q4 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Pike County?

There were eight offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter that live in Pike County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that six men and two women were released in Pike County. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee was a 28-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2016, and the oldest was a 46-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2014.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was David B. Pressey. He was convicted of a property crime in 2009 when he was 32 years old. He is now 42.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter in each Pike County municipality.
