BEARDSTOWN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: The Community Hope and Recovery Center Selected As June 2019 Business of the Month!

Beardstown Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 17.

The Beardstown Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that The Community Hope and Recovery Center has been selected as the June 2019 Business of the Month! The nomination was made by an individual who said that staff members from the organization are “wonderful and respectful!” Those who work at the center “help people work through their specific problems and are always there for you.”

The Community Hope and Recovery Center aka The Cass County Mental Health Center, is a multi-setting, non-hospital, mental health facility. CCMH prepares special programs and counseling for Youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance, Adults with Serious Mental Illness, Persons with Mental Health and Substance Abuse Disorders, and Forensic Clients. CCMH provides services to Intellectually Disabled Adults, including a day training center and employment opportunities. They have a Community Care Program for the elderly, which allows individuals the luxury of remaining in their homes. Light housekeeping, shopping, and companionship are the hallmarks of this program. The Community Hope and Recovery Center manages a Community Housing Complex for the Chronically Mentally Ill and provides a variety of services, on site, designed to promote successful independent living.

The Community Hope & Recovery Center is located at 121 East 2nd Street in Beardstown and the phone number is 323-2980. Business hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
