There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62312, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Vandalia zip code. The 34-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 4 years in prison for a financial crime or fraud in 2017 when he was 32 years old.
