There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62378, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Vandalia zip code. The 31-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 4 years in prison for a crime involving drugs in 2015 when he was 27 years old.
