This position requires an RN license, with BSN preferred. Previous management experience and knowledge of Rural Health regulations preferred. This position will work at all locations – Rushville, Beardstown, Table Grove and Astoria.
The Clinical Nursing Supervisor position is responsible for the direction of clinical nursing activities at provider-based, rural health clinics associated with Sarah D. Culbertson Memorial Hospital. The CNS provides leadership and nursing services to staff and patients in a community/rural health setting and works with the healthcare team to coordinate and provide healthcare services. The CNS identifies appropriate resources to provide education to patients, their families and staff members. The CNS also assists in the administrative efficiencies throughout the clinical service areas and works closely with the Clinic Operations Manager. Additionally, the CNS exercises frequent independent judgment in monitoring the day-to-day clinical nursing operations in all three clinics with minimal administrative supervision.
