Franklin home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Franklin fell by $6,500 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $58,250 - a 10% decrease over the $64,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Franklin in the fourth quarter of 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,279, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
