Waverly home prices fall in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Waverly fell by $84,000 while total sales remained unchanged with seven homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $18,000 - a 82.4% decrease over the $102,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Waverly in the first quarter of 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Waverly for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,251, approximately 7% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
