South Jacksonville home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in South Jacksonville rose by $14,950 while total sales increased by 21.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 46 homes sold, with a median sale price of $93,250 - a 19.1% increase over the $78,300 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 38 homes sold in South Jacksonville in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in South Jacksonville for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,846, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
