Jacksonville home prices rise in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Jacksonville rose by $1,600 while total sales decreased by 11.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 280 homes sold, with a median sale price of $84,500 - a 1.9% increase over the $82,900 median sale price for the previous year. There were 315 homes sold in Jacksonville in 2017.

The median sales tax in Jacksonville for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,809, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for 2018.
