Franklin home prices fall in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Franklin fell by $46,000 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $30,000 - a 60.5% decrease over the $76,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Franklin in 2016.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,279, approximately 4.3% of the median home sale price for 2017.
