Culbertson Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.
Culbertson Memorial Hospital Therapy Services hosts a Stroke Support Group meeting every other month (even months) at 3 to 4 pm on the 3rd Wednesday at Culbertson Gardens, located at 400 Logan St, Rushville.
Our current group includes stroke survivors, stroke caregivers, family members and others who want to learn, or may be in need support.
The meetings are very casual. The first 15 minutes are normally spent socializing of snacks and drinks, and is followed by an educational speaker. Guest are able to ask questions, share stories and we finish the night with more socializing.
This group is open to the Public, and we invite you to join us. If you would like to be added to our mailing list for monthly topics and reminders, please call our Therapy Services Department at 217-322-5286.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16.
