CITY OF GREENVILLE: Sheriff & City Police Department Conduct Sex Offender Compliance Checks

City of Greenville issued the following announcement on Nov. 14.

November 15, 2019, the Bond County Sheriff's Department and Greenville Police Department, along with the assistance of the Bond County States Attorney's Office, Illinois Attorney General's Office, U.S. Marshals Service and Pierron Police Department conducted sex offender compliance checks in Greenville and Bond County. During the Friday operation, a total of thirty-six compliance checks were completed. Two out of the thirty-six individuals checked were found to be out of compliance. A report will be submitted to the Bond County States Attorney's Office for charges related to the individuals not being in compliance.

The Bond County Sheriff's Department and Greenville Police Department remain committed to keeping Bond County a safe community for its residents.
