City of Greenville issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.
The Greenville City Council will hold a special council meeting on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 7:00 PM for further discussion and public input regarding the state's legalization of recreational cannabis. Additional information is available regarding a portion of Greenville being designated as a disproportionately impacted area, which creates economic incentives for the cannabis industries, that was not available for the November 4th public meeting. The public is encouraged to take part in the discussion.
