City of Barry issued the following announcement on Nov. 23.
Show off your holiday spirit this year by participating in Barry's Christmas Light Contest! It's simple to participate.
1. Call City Hall at 217-335-2215 or email info@barryil.org to register for one of 3 categories.
General Business Griswold
The winner of each category will receive s $100 cash prize!!!
2. All entries must be registered by December 13th.
3. Turn your lights on for judging, which will take place the week of December 16th.
Winners will be announced the following week.
