Jacksonville home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Jacksonville rose by $16,500 while total sales decreased by 24.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 63 homes sold, with a median sale price of $104,500 - a 18.8% increase over the $88,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 83 homes sold in Jacksonville in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Jacksonville for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,883, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
