City of Greenville issued the following announcement on March 5
The City of Greenville is getting closer to obtaining the necessary 75% of responses to the Community Survey. So far, 68.7% of the income surveys have been completed and returned. In February the City of Greenville announced a Second Chance promotion for a chance to win a new 50” television for those who completed the Community Survey. The City of Greenville is pleased to announce that Brianna Westfall is the winner of the new television.
In an effort to reach the 75% target, City staff is going door‐to‐door to survey residences who have not completed the survey. Residents can still earn a $10 credit on their utility bill or a $10 bankcard for completing the survey.
The surveys are important as federal grant programs require 75% of the residents living in the community to submit a community income survey. The City of Greenville is seeking federal grant funding for water and sewer infrastructure improvements.
If you have not turned in a survey, contact the Greenville Municipal Building at 664‐1644 or stop by 404 S Third Street to get a survey and learn more about how to earn $10. Be part of this
