Franklin home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Franklin rose by $92,500 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $158,500 - a 140.2% increase over the $66,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Franklin in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,388, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
