CITY OF GREENVILLE: COVID-19 Operating Changes

City of Greenville issued the following announcement on March 21.

Effective March, 23, 2020, the Greenville Municipal Building will be locked, with entry only granted by appointment. Residents may pay utilities bills on-line, drop off payments in the night depository, or mail payments to City of Greenville, 404 S Third Street, Greenville, Illinois 62246. The Municipal Building will continue to be staffed and individuals may call 618-664-1644 for assistance or if they need to schedule an appointment. Any matter that can be handled by telephone will be done so in that manner to avoid personal contact.

The City of Greenville is temporarily waiving all late charges on utility bills and suspending disconnections due to nonpayment.

Water, Sewer and Street Departments will continue to operate with modified staffing.

The Police Department will remain fully staffed to serve the community. The police department can be reached at 618-664-2131, or for an emergency dial 911.
