City of Mt. Sterling issued the following announcement on March 20.
In keeping with the Governor’s mandate on social distancing, beginning on Tue, March 17, 2020, City Hall will be closed to the public until further notice. We will continue to keep normal business hours from 8:00-4:00 pm Mon-Fri enabling us to process customer water/sewer requests and inquiries. Please mail payments or use the drop box on the west side of the building. We also offer online payments by credit/debit cards. Cash payments should be exact change or as close as you can be. Any overages will be applied to your account as a credit for next month. We appreciate your understanding during this time as we get thru this together.
