The special meeting of the Carthage E.S.D. #317 Board of Education was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Board President Brent Ufkes.
Roll call: Brent Ufkes/present; Luke Burling/present; Robert Menn/present; Andrea Jones/present; Brandon Gooding/present; Trish Markley/absent; Amy Graham absent.
It was moved by Mr. Menn and seconded by Mr. Burling to enter into executive session at 5:02 p.m. for the purpose of discussing collective negotiating. Roll Call: Mr. Ufkes/yes; Mr. Burling/yes; Mr. Menn/yes; Mrs. Jones/yes; Mr. Gooding/yes; Mrs. Markley/absent; Mrs. Graham/absent. Motion carried 5-0.
Mrs. Graham entered the meeting at 6:00 PM Teachers and Mr. Butcher entered meeting at 6:00 PM
It was moved by Mr. Menn and seconded by Mr. Gooding to exit executive session at 7:54 p.m. Roll Call: Mr. Ufkes/yes; Mr. Burling/yes; Mr. Menn/yes; Mrs. Jones/yes; Mr. Gooding/yes; Mrs. Markley/absent; Mrs. Graham/yes. Motion carried 6-0.
It was moved by Mr. Burling and seconded by Mrs. Graham to adjourn the meeting at 7:57 p.m. Roll Call: Mr. Ufkes/yes; Mr. Burling/yes; Mr. Menn/yes; Mrs. Jones/yes; Mr. Gooding/yes; Mrs. Markley/absent; Mrs. Graham/yes. Motion carried 6-0.
