Culbertson Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on April 18.
Gloves are typically worn to avoid cross contamination. For example, hospital workers wear gloves if they need to touch a patient and then the gloves are thrown away before moving on to the next task. If you are wearing the same set of gloves all around town, you are carrying germs everywhere. Think about every door you touch, your steering wheel, shopping carts, and other items you touch. It is safer to not wear gloves and WASH YOUR HANDS or use an alcohol-based hand rub (if soap and water is not available) after every store.
