There was one offender released on parole during 2019 that lives in Kane zip code 62054, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that the released offender was Timothy A. Edgell. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2018, when he was 32. He is now 34.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
