Hancock County Finance, Fees and Salaries Committee met March 17.

The Finance, Fees and Salaries Committee met at 6:00pm. Members present were Wayne Bollin, Chairman, Bryan Stevens, Janet Fleming, Mark Menn and Delbert Kreps, Chairman of the Board.
The members met to discuss the contract with WIRC for reimbursement for the Census. After discussion a motion was made by Bryan Stevens to present this to the full board for approval. Janet Fleming seconded the motion. All voted aye.
The committee also discussed having the Supervisor of Assessments Ariel flight done by Surdex Co. for approximately $74,000.00 was discussed. A motion was made by Janet Fleming to allow this to go to the full board for approval. Mark Menn seconded the motion. All voted aye Motion carried.
The members discussed a motion for having Bellwether, LLC help the Finance Committee with the Budget for the year of 2020-2021 for a cost of $6,000.00 this year and $6,000.00 next year and a new line item being number 001-130-5200. Bryan Stevens made the motion to have the full board approve this motion. Bryan Stevens seconded the motion. All voted aye. Motion carried.
Members also discussed the approval to extend the contract with QFB energy for Power Agreement, and after discussing a motion was made by Janet Fleming to send this to the full Board for approval to have a one-year agreement with them at a rate of 0.04425 or lower. Mark Menn seconded the motion. All voted Aye. Motion Carried.
Having nothing further to discuss a motion was made to recess by Janet Fleming till April 9, 2020 at 9:00am. Bryan Stevens seconded the motion. All voted aye. Motion carried.
