White Hall Township Public Library Board met May 28.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Information meeting was called to order by President Henry at 5:15p.m. Present were Jessica Henry, Mary Frances Tunison, Pamela Painter, Dawn Ballard, Cheri Madson, Catherine Williams, Patricia Taylor and librarian Penny Eilers.

Librarian Eilers reported that she has been in contact with Molly Peters, Greene County Health Department Administrator about COVID-19 opening recommendations.

Librarian Eilers proposed the following:

The library will reopen on 6/1/20. Library hours: Monday and Friday 9-12, Wednesday and Thursday 2-6 and Saturday 9-12. Curbside pickup will be offered. Total occupancy of the library will be 10 people. A sign will be posted on the front door that encourages patrons to wear a mask, practice social distancing, drop books in tote in front, use the hand sanitizer, two computers are available, chairs, toys and tables are off limits and no food or drink. The computers will have a 30 minute time limit. Hand wash will be available at the front door. No programs or groups will be held the first two weeks.

These recommendations will be implemented for two weeks and will be reevaluated at the monthly June meeting.

All members were in agreed with the proposed opening recommendations.
