Bill Myers-Apologized for getting handbook updates so late. He stated with the Ag hire we would like to utilize this person in the science department. This applicant has science experience. Two current employees Johnny Wanjiku will move into the physical education department and Jeronimo Gonzalez will go into the HS ESL teacher spot. He has been receiving feedback that the community doesn’t think we should follow the suggestions from the state. He is going to follow them as guidelines not as suggestions or hints. Barbara Hobrock stated as long as they have on masks there could be under 50 in a classroom, everything is open to interpretation.

Ron Gilbert-Gave a report on the return to school committee. Today he ordered masks for our district through the ROE. Model for our return to school plan. The building administrators are working on building plans for returning to school. He thanked everyone for work on the plan. Goal is July 24th to get the plan finalized. Approval from legal and hopefully from the health department. We will need a special board meeting to approve a plan.

Hobrock how equipped are we to go completely remote? Gilbert students in grades 3-12 will receive a chrome book, grades k-2 will receive a tablet. Our rural demographics are challenging for those without internet.
