Jacksonville home prices rise in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Jacksonville rose by $13,332 while total sales increased by 30.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were 98 homes sold, with a median sale price of $110,000 - a 13.8% increase over the $96,668 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 75 homes sold in Jacksonville in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Jacksonville for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,961, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
