PUBLIC COMMENT – Citizens wishing to address the City Council on matters germane to the agenda of the meeting will be limited to Three (3) minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

1.Consideration of an ordinance authorizing the sale of certain personal property (equipment and vehicles) owned by the City of Macomb.

This ordinance will be presented for second reading and final approval.

2.Consideration of an ordinance to provide for the levy and collection of taxes for the year 2020, payable 2021 for the City of Macomb, McDonough County, Illinois.

This ordinance will be presented for second reading and final approval.

3.Consideration of an ordinance to abate the direct annual tax levied for 2020 to pay the annual debt service on $2,275,000 in General Obligation Refunding Bonds (Waterworks Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2016 and $4,010,000 in General Obligation Bonds, (Infrastructure Projects Alternate Revenue Source) Series 2020.

This ordinance will be presented for second reading and final approval.

NEW BUSINESS

1.Consideration to authorize $24,000.00 from the CURE Economic Support grant to Ruth Kelly and Daniel Lewis dba Taylor Hall for the Outdoor Seating program.

Attached is a memo from CDC Bannon for your review. Final action will be in order.

2.Consideration to approve the agreement for Professional Services with Durham School Services, LP, to operate the Go-West University Transit System for one (1) year beginning July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.

A copy of the agreement is attached for your review. Final action will be in order.

3.Consideration to approve the purchase of a stainless-steel V-box spreader from Monroe Truck in the amount of $16,074.00 for the Public Works Operations Department.

This was a recommendation from the Public Works Committee. Final action will be in order.

4.Consideration to authorize the purchase of a replacement Carbon Feeder at Spring Lake.

A memo from Water Plant Manager Cox is attached for your review. This was also a recommendation from the Public Works Committee. Final action will be in order.

5.Consideration to approve a three (3) year maintenance service contract in the amount of $15,638.00 for the Solar Bee destratifiers at Spring Lake.

A memo from Water Plant Manager Cox is attached for your review along with a copy of the proposal. This was also a recommendation from the Public Works Committee. Final action will be in order.

6.Consideration to approve the purchase one (1) Kubota Zero Turn lawn mower from A.C. McCartney for Oakwood Cemetery.

A memo from Gary Rhoads is attached for your review. This was a recommendation from the Public Works Committee. Final action will be in order.

7.Consideration to approve a purchase of a new pickup truck for Oakwood Cemetery with an amount not to exceed $29,000.00.

A memo from Gary Rhoads is attached for your review. This was a recommendation from the Public Works Committee. Final action will be in order.
