Q2 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Schuyler County?

There were 17 offenders released on parole during the second quarter of 2020 that live in Schuyler County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Schuyler County were men. The median age of the parolees was 45. The youngest parolee was a 29-year-old man sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2019, and the oldest was a 70-year-old man sentenced for a sex crime in 1990.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Kenneth A. Lewis. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2005 when he was 42 years old. He is now 57.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2020 in each Schuyler County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
