Franklin median home prices fell by 13.5% in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Franklin fell by $14,000 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $90,000 - a 13.5% decrease over the $104,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Franklin in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,310, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
