The first half of 2021: Home prices in Franklin increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Franklin rose by $51,750 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $120,000 - a 75.8% increase over the $68,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Franklin in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,310, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
