City of Bushnell City Council Met June 1.

Here is the minutes provided by the council:

Mayor Wilt called the meeting to order.

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given.

Roll Call

Ald. Donna Coates - P   Ald. Greg Yocum –A    Mayor Robin Wilt – P              David Raymond –A

Ald. Chuck Howell – P   Ald. Stacey Allen – P   City Clerk Teresa Ebbert - P   Police Chief Joe Fosdyck - P

Ald. Kim Havens –P       Ald. Bruce Lorton –P   Treasurer Betsy Rench – P    Street Superintendent    

Ald. David Norton –P      Ald. Mike Baker – A    City Attorney Chuck Laegeler-P

Personnel/Finance/Budget

Ald. Norton made a motion to hire Joe Fosdyck for the Utility manager position. Ald. Lorton seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken with the results as follows:

Ald. Havens“aye”       Ald.Lorton“aye”

Ald. Norton“aye”

Where upon Mayor Wilt declared the motion carried.

*Ald. Norton stated that they are still in the process of hiring an electrician and will now be looking to fill the Chief of Police position.

Public Works

*Ald. Howell stated that they had discovered oil leaking from the pipes outside of the power plant. They have received a quote from Oil Marketing Equipment, Inc. for $65,200.44 to replace the pipes. City Treasurer Betsy Rench stated that there are funds in the budget for repairs.

Ald. Allen made a motion to adjourn.

Meeting was adjourned at 5:40
