Report: Griggsville-Perry School District spent $13,108 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Griggsville-Perry Community Unit School District 4 was up 18.1 percent from five years ago, according to the West Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Pike County school district spent $11,098 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,108 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 379 to 351 students over the same period.

Griggsville-Perry's spending in 2019-20 was 9.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
