Report: Meredosia-Chambersburg School District spent $19,849 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Meredosia-Chambersburg Community Unit School District 11 was up 47.2 percent from five years ago, according to the West Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Morgan County school district spent $13,482 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $19,849 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 203 to 200 students over the same period.

Meredosia-Chambersburg's spending in 2019-20 was 37 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
