Report: Triopia School District spent $10,585 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Triopia Community Unit School District 27 was up 19.1 percent from five years ago, according to the West Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Morgan County school district spent $8,889 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,585 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 365 to 389 students over the same period.

Triopia's spending in 2019-20 was 27 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
