The fourth quarter of 2019: Nauvoo experienced a 7.9% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Nauvoo rose by $4,750 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $65,250 - a 7.9% increase over the $60,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Nauvoo in the fourth quarter of 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Nauvoo for 2019 was $2,240. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,210. This marks an increase of 1.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.4%.
