Pricing for the median home in Nauvoo decreased during the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Nauvoo fell by $14,750 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $85,000 - a 14.8% decrease over the $99,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Nauvoo in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Nauvoo for 2019 was $2,240. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,210. This marks an increase of 1.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
